Growing Everyday
Delta Sigma Pi has been one of the outstanding greek letter
organizations of the downtown school for the past eight
years. It was the first greek letter society in the
School of Commerce, having been founded on June 2, 1928 by five
enterprising students. From this
humble beginning Delta Sigma Pi has enjoyed yearly growth
and prosperity assuming many cherished traditions. It's members include men and
women quite prominent in the
student life of DePaul, class officers, night students, honor students and much more.
It's social and professional events are among some of the best offered at DePaul.
AO Projects
In addition to meetings, community service work, fundraising, and spending quality time together the Alpha Omega chapter hosts major events within the DePaul community. One of the most popular events is HYPE!, an annual hip-hop dance competition with the feel of "America's Best Dance Crew". See News section for more information. We have initiated a new fundrasing events called "The Black Tie Affair", which raises money for chapter operations and also for a charity of our choice. Our chapter also hosts professional events for its brother and will be working on its first large university-wide networking event this year.
International Network
The international Fraternity of Delta Sigma Pi is one of
the two foremost commerce fraternities in the
country. There are over 260 chapters in the leading
universities of the United States and Canada. Membership is approximately 226,000 and growing,
many of whom are prominent in the business world today. |
